Anzac Day (2008)... Photos etc

So the Anzac Day Dawn Service has come and gone for another year. The 2008 event saw 85 people attend the Dawn Service, 70 stay on for the Breakfast, and 35 play a few fun rounds of 2 Up.

Australia Day (2008)...

Thanks to everyone who came or whom sent their best wishes for the night. We once again had 40+ attendees, and as you can see it was as usual big Aussie smiles all round.

Ben Lee was here...

Around twenty Aussies (and a hundred locals) turned out on Sunday night to watch Ben Lee play 'Call the Office'. And those who went were treated to a fantastic night of solid sounds, a great stage presence and an overall awesome performance. Ben is so cool, yet down to earth he even took time to meet the audience after the show, signing autographs and posing for photos such as these. What a guy!

Joe Kools & the Socceroos...

So around midday on Sunday June 18th 2006, about 30 or so of us gathered at Joe Kools to watch the mighty Socceroos take on Brazil in what was the Aussies second game of the 2006 World Cup. Unfortunately we lost 2-0, but not before sharing a few drinks, some tasty food and plenty of laughs. I also note that the pink shirt was this time worn by Roger. I suspect with a bit of effort we could get a bit of a tradition going here. Nice one!
